Luna learns a lot about magical creatures and their life sources, and then takes it upon herself to nurse many of the injured ones back to health. Draco finds her like that in the Forbidden Forest during the rebuilding, and just watches as she carefully patches up a wound on a unicorn’s neck and then feeds it some sort of red, glittery nectar.

As she does, she speaks to it, painting beautiful pictures with her words. He’s a little bit stunned.

He’s never known anyone who is so consistently kind.
